This June, The Road Records presents the Golden Thread Tour—an extraordinary, artist-curated experience that will be performed in a select number of unique, intimate venues across the UK. Taking place in the sacred circle of the round, the evening will begin with a poetry reading, accompanied by evocative instrumental soundscapes. The poems themselves are an alchemical excavation—an introspective odyssey weaving deep poetic resonance with profound personal reflection. They delve into the very essence of consciousness, exploring the elusive realms of dreams and the sacred tiers that connect our minds, our psyches, and the land. This is a tribute to the invisible, yet inseparable, threads that shape both our inner landscapes and our external worlds.
Following the poetry, Samana will perform songs from their self-titled album, alongside new, never-before-heard material, creating an experience that promises to be as transcendent as it is immersive. The audience will be enveloped in a rich symphony of vocals, bodhrán, gongs, bells, piano, electric guitars, and double bass—a soundscape that transports and transforms.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to deliver a deeply immersive and transcendental sonic experience that dissolves the traditional boundaries between performer and audience. The evening will invite all into the soft, embracing atmosphere of a living room, where music becomes more than just sound—it becomes a shared, living experience. The music’s sonic delivery will be enhanced by binaural soundscapes, creating an atmosphere of interconnectedness that blurs the lines between the ethereal and the emotional, creating a space where both realms fuse into one.
At The Road Records, our commitment goes beyond creating transformative artistic experiences. We are dedicated to supporting uncompromising artistry and fostering sustainability for independent musicians in the challenging landscape of today’s UK music scene. Once venue hire and artist expenses are covered, the ticket proceeds go directly back into the project, allowing the magic of the evening to be infused with care and creativity. This model ensures not only the success of the Golden Thread Tour, but also the continuation of more intimate, curated events in the future.
Join us this June, as we unravel the golden threads that weave us together—through sound, through poetry, and through the shared experience of music that transcends time and space.
