The Golden Thread
‘The Golden Thread’ is a sonic imprint crafted by Samana — the duo of Rebecca Rose Harris and Franklin Mockett — who weave a meditative soundscape using a profound array of instruments. Central to their alchemy is a 44-inch ceremonial gong, birthed in sacred ritual, alongside shamanic rattles, skin drums, koshi chimes, temple bells, shruti boxes, and meditation bowls. Layering their own voices with field recordings from sacred landscapes and fragments of poetry, they guide listeners on an immersive voyage through the strata of consciousness — navigating the thresholds between the corporeal and incorporeal, the anima and animus.
Each journey is tuned to sub-frequencies and rhythmic patterns aligned with specific brainwave states, inviting a deepened connection to self and source.

‘The Golden Thread’ is not merely a sound journey, but a metaphysical cartography composed by Samana — the collaborative vessel of Rebecca Rose Harris and Franklin Mockett. Drawing upon a sacred palette of instruments — a 44-inch gong born through ceremony, shamanic rattles, skin drums, koshi chimes, temple bells, shruti boxes, and meditation bowls — they summon a sonic architecture that reverberates with ancestral memory and the intelligence of silence.
Each sonic journey is attuned to sub-frequencies and rhythmic cycles corresponding to specific brainwave states, acting as vibrational keys that unlock altered states of awareness. In traversing these interior landscapes, the listener is invited to re-member — to re-stitch the golden thread that binds the self to the source, time to timelessness, and sound to silence.
